Missions

Mission Statement

Cornerstone Community Church desires to be consistently and actively involved in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world by partnering with various missions agencies. Our goal in partnering with these agencies is to fulfill the following objectives:

  • Ensure that those we support are Christ-centered in their doctrine and practice
  • Empower the local church by working with national believers to strengthen the work of the local church and training nationals to evangelize and disciple their own people groups to eventually become missionaries to surrounding people groups

We desire to encourage and grow missions awareness, interest, and involvement within our local church. We want to help our members and adherents catch a vision for missions – to pray, give, and to go as they are led by the Lord.

Where we are involved

Cornerstone Community Church currently supports two organizations: HeartCry Missionary Society and AIPM (African International Prayer and Missions Movement).

HeartCry works in 30 countries around the world and “exists to glorify God through the establishment of biblical churches by equipping and mobilizing indigenous churches and missionaries to the least evangelized areas of the world.”

AIPM exists for the purpose of mobilizing, recruiting and sending missionaries to plant churches among unreached people groups in Ethiopia and beyond. They also seek to establish prayer groups in the local churches, train Bible students, and help their communities through holistic ministries.
